Gregory Polletta and Sung Jang have created Topiade, a lay-over facade structure designed to renew an existing Louis Vuitton store building without a major reconstruction. The concept of topiary and the French garden were taken to extend and exhibit the luxurious quality of Louis Vuitton.

i love it ! ^

hm French Garden.. maybe referring to Louis the 16th's palace in Marseilles? So much of these hedges there

lately a lot of shop design posts in this thread have been kind of 'nature' themed

i don't know this place you're talking about in Marseille (without an S)???
what's the name of the chateau????
I doubt Louis XVI had something in Marseille....
Marseille was developed in the XIXth from what I know....

+ i don't like this Vuitton project......

i guess it's not really a good design, like there's so much clear space and in a dull colour.. even the hedges...
demeulemeester's version of hedges is definitely grander

this thread is great. some store are wonderful, but others have it so wrong!

I have recently graduated from my architecture degree and have so many ideas for retail stores. I would love to work with rei kawakubo...her stores are amazing!
