^ actually basestation is their house brand. their concept is basic items. really like it. their pricing is a li'l higher than that of uniqlo but they do provide play-up basics as well.

other stores we visited

comme des garcons guerrilla store in warsaw, poland #881

& another #887

it's cute the way it's so messy, and just everywhere
unkempt kept in cardboard boxes and furniture hung on the dilapidated walls

there was one picture of this store posted earlier in the thread, but here are 2 additional photos of the Walter store in Antwerp. It's a converted garage.

I really love how they elevated everything in there. Are there ramps, or how do they get around wheelchair laws, I wonder?

guys could someone please help me to list the artists who worked (or will work) on shops design / display :
Dominique Gonzalez - Foerster : Balenciaga (NY and Paris)
Olafur Eliasson, James Turrel and
Tim White-Sobieski : Louis Vuitton (Paris, Champs-Elysées)
......
Do you guys have more names in mind ?
For instance, I know Daniel Burren and Philippe Parreno worked for Nina Ricci in the 90s....
I cannot remember the names of the artists who exhibited or worked on Prada shops etc.

Rem Koolhaas is the one who designed Prada's flagship store and Epicenter in New York ^

I think we sometimes list the names of the shop designer in this thread...
Anyway, Marni often collaborates with the company Sybarite for their stores. The new accessory boutique in Milan, the stores in Aoyama and Istanbul...
