God I love illustration. I wish I could go to school for it but I want to go to Uni and illustration majors are only at art schools. I'm doing graphic design instead but I'm going to search for illustration lessons elsewhere.

My site is wall to wall illustrations- i do em free hand, ink on paper- here are some of my faves...



Incidentally.. Nylon magazine is so ahead of the game in all cases- they break everything, models, photogs, trends, before the more commercial mags... & they were rockin the illustration craze way before elle-vogue-etc. if you're not familiar with em yet, you should be... you won't be disappointed

Don't know if they necessarily fall into this category but Carmen Freudenthal and Elle Verhagen are my faves! Not full-on illustration but they use real images in a cut&paste sort of way with graphics and animated characters. Their work with Bernhard Willhelm has been absolutely stupendous.
