Postcards
Clippings from fashion magazines that inspire me
Old photographs
Random things from places I travelled to (sugar sachets from cafťs, tickets from museums, exhibitions, tube, bus.., little maps... etc)

I used to collect cinema tickets, but I got tired of that.

Kate Moss stuff, since 2001. I have thousands of clippings and dozens of magazines, many extremely rare. Plus a Japanese clothing catalog from 1991 and a postcard to me from her.

I feel like an addict.

And also:
- perfume bottles (my mom and i never buy the same perfume twice)
- seashells from different beaches i've been to

My designer tie collection has grown significantly recently.

Currently I have 83 designer ties. Three I bought today.

The art of this collection is that I buy all of these ties second hand.
I worked out how much the collection would have cost bought new at an average of £60.00 per tie, the sum was £4,980. That's when I pay as little as a pound each for them.

I know this will sound pretentious, BUT... I dream to one day have my own library. Hence, I collect books. Fiction, non-fiction, coffeetable books... everything that interests me. Anyone else with the same ambition here?

^ I'd love to have a library.
Have you seen Karl Lagerfeld's?
It's like one of those ones with the steel bookcases where you turn the wheel and they close together/open up.
I have way too many books. And I love them all.

I also love to have library one day, I love buying second hand books, but mostly collect art and photography books. I also collect vintage jewellery and bags particularly from 1930s -1950s, amazing what you can find and how inexpensive they are to buy.

Oh I need to add to my list
Posters (Radiohead, White Stripes, Arcade Fire, Sweeny Todd, Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs signed, Spoon signed when I met the singer, A few art french art deco prints as well)
I was collecting Prada and Dior Homme ads for a while but then Prada got all lacy (not really my thing sorry) and Hedi Silmmane left so that is over with for the mean time.

Oh yes! I bought the Oct US Vogue where he had a photo spread of his apartment, and although the apartment was far too minimalist for me (though I cannot not love how he has but old lace bed covers on his bed whilst everything else is steel and glass and new technology), I just loved his collection of books. Of course, what he has in that apartment (Paris) is only a little sampler of the whole library... I am sure I have seen a picture of his Biarritz library, which is apparently the "main" library.

Books just are in their very own category, I think. I can't part with them.

I would love to have a library as well!! That is one reason why I don't give away/sell any of my books. I love each and every book I own- whether fiction, biography, coffee table book, etc. I want to put them all in a room one day and have them together in one place.

^I dream of one of those musty, dusty old libraries English country estates and manors have... you know, tall, dark book cases filled with leather-bound volumes...
