I thought it might be Jhonen Vasquez, but maybe not...
There seem to be a lot of comic artists using this kind of dark style (with the bald heads and bruised eyes). It reminds me of some illustrations Tim Burton (filmmaker) makes
If you're really into this kind, you might also like FSC

It also looks a little bit like something by Roman Dirge but I don´t know if he ever draws anything other than Lenore.
