I love the way this girl wears this look. The floral, motorcycle jacket, drawstring chanel bag, sneakers, and the cute bob. I seriously want to emulate this outfit, girly yet tomboyish and casual at the same time.

another two i like. If i didn't work in the creative field and had to dress more professionally, I would totally rock the top look.

Now I'm starting to see why Korea has such a big influence on China in the fields of culture and fashion.

Nice pix....Curious--what's with the hand-over-the-mouth pose for the ladies? Is this like a trend or something? I've noticed that some Korean girls/east asians I know tend to cover up their smiles/laughing a lot too, must be a cultural thing? (Sorry a little off topic. and not trying to stereotype or anything of course)

I just noticed this trend too, I'm liking the covering of the mouth thing--adds an air of mystery! I'm going to start doing that in pictures!!

yea, it's a 'cute' things korean girls do, like they're shy to laugh. they do other 'cute-sy' things for the camera, such as puffing their cheeks. can get kind of annoying.

Well korean girls cover their mouths a lot especially when they are laughing or they are embarassed. Apparantly it's more 'ladylike' and 'modest' to cover your mouth while laughing instead of laughing with your mouth wide open and such. Also it's done a lot when the girl feels embarassed or something, like if they made a mistake they will cover their mouths as a gesture of their shame..lol. Oh and some of my friends do that too when I am taking pictures of them because they want to look 'ladylike' in the pictures if they want to make their face look thinner or more obscured.

Some real Seoul street styles

Too often, street fashion gets caught up in a universal standard of what looks good anywhere that it forgets about tracking the best of what people actually wear, one's personal tastes aside. Often, this ends up in the filter only including people who would "look good," regardless of whether they are in London, Berlin, Tokyo, New York City, Tokyo, or Seoul.

We track street fashion in Seoul, and we make an active effort to cover the broad range of what people actually wear on the streets, as opposed to simply those who pass a narrow definition of "fashion forward." Sometimes, this means shooting and recording styles that we don't even personally like, but are still popular on the streets nevertheless.

That's what makes real street fashion shooting a constant challenge, yet endless fun.
