Love this thread! I was in London for the first time about a month ago, and my friend and I kept noticing women in jeans wearing round toe beige pumps, mostly with ankle straps. Wish I had taken a photo. At the time, we hadn't seem much of the round toe on people here yet (DC area), although it's certainly been in the stores. Now I'm starting to see it, and after being inspired in London, I'm doing my part!

Cool to see those ladies in this London style. I always admired London style because I always felt that London, among other cities like Paris and NYC, always come up with cool ideas. But I never been to London, yet I can see that the styles they are wearing fit the pictures in my head! I wanna go to London one day. I love nice shoes with jeans...too bad I can't wear nice shoes with clothes at my job right now because it requires me to stand with some movement at least 4.5 hours everyday. Must be very tiring...has anyone ever tried standing a lot with high heeled shoes? Anyway, London fashion rocks! :P

How the hell are you supposed to wear your new Gucci trenchcoat on the steaming cesspit that is known as the London Underground?
The only truly inspired London fashion designers are Paul Smith and George Cox. As for Londoners: they dress terribly - I kid thee not and I would know because I was born in London. Get off the main shopping streets and into the slums and the designer labels trail off sharply.
