The more models dress like this or this, the more bigger ones probably feel like setting the bar higher and dressing like they truly mean business .. all models should go through an Alana Zimmer or Frida Gustavsson bootcamp imo. And I think agencies are getting a little lazy at reminding their models that they're not part of a soccer team and are actually working in the fashion business..

^ but Alana and Frida don't dress that fancy.at least i think so. i mean they have a few statement expensive pieces but it's pretty boring nontheless. i liked Frida's style in the beginning when she was all preppy with blouses and what not.

*soccer team* never before have i seen models in sneakers walking around until this season. and don't even get me started about isabel marant wedge sneakers frenzy.ugh.

i like how Natasha and Anja dress and Hanne Gaby is stepping up to the plate these last couple of seasons.

also just a little observation. asian girls definetely dress betetr than all the other american/european girls.

They probably don't dress fancy (Alana and Frida) but certainly look like they know designer names and have an opinion on them, of course it's natural with Alana as she's been around for ages but Frida's newer. Then again, I know that also depends on background (not everyone hails from downtown Stockholm!) but that's when agencies could use a bit of guidance.

To be frank, I used to adore Hanne Gaby's style but I feel like she's completely lost it, almost like a blogger: great sense of style, receives too much attention/praise and from then on the rest of her choices are so self-conscious that they come off as contrived to me. I feel like she mostly dresses for streetstyle photographers these days..

Agree, but am surprised that #46, row 1, first pic
Who is that, and what is she wearing?!
On the other hand you have Xiao Wen Ju, Liu Wen dressing very well. Does anyone know do they dress themselves or get advices? The standards between the good and bad are so varied I wonder...

I dont think that Hanne dresses up for photographers. Because one day she is in Balenciaga, the other - in dirty grunge sweater with Dr.Martens boots.
It feels like her style is honest.

I like Alana's and Frida's style! Always chic+good color combinations.

Rubys style is the best in the grunge selection.

And of course asian girls are good! Sometimes I feel that good taste in their blood...

But most of the models look simple and nothings special - leather jackets and black jeans. Difference only is it Zara or expensive brand.

Nobody does better street style than the efervescent Hanne Gaby and the effortless chic Caroline Brasch Nielsen. Those are the models with the best street style.
