that website has both LA & nyc events.
i have recognized certain people from both coasts.
if i may say so, that website shows that la is a city full of fashion-challenged poseurs who may or may not know how ridiculous they seem & look.

but then again the hipsters of all cities must say the same about nyc trendies & fashionists like myself too.

As much as I say I hate Scenesters, I can't help but check that site sometimes.

I like the style of the girl in glasses- she's so cute. Isn't her name Erica- a design student?

Devon Aoki's brother Steve is in a lot of the pictures (there's a DimMak connection here), with The Kills- I saw them in Toronto and they had such energy and presence on-stage and off. I think I'm in love with that chain-smoking girl.

I think polaroid scene is best seen as comic relief, its a fun site with fun LA & NYC trendies, fashionists & fashion disasters. My only fear is that I'll turn up on day on that site in a bad picture. OUCHIES!!
