Looks like the "homeless stoner" look is in with the scene kids these days

Also a lot of them are wearing what I think are these shirts:

I've had the "heathered" gray one for a long time now and it's very very comfy, and goes along with practically everything.

He would kill if he found out his picture was in this forum. He hates scene kids. In fact, most scene kids on myspace- like someone mentioned, there are many- hate being called "scene".

who says these kids have brains? Half of them dress this way because they around people who dress this way. It's a sheep mentality no matter what scene. Some of the dressing is cool, others is way to contrived.

most of the scene people I know are not really philanthropist indie, more indie for indie's sake... they tend to be more bothered about clothes, smoking (as meg mentioned), and listening to good music, than they are about starbuck's (anything for a caffeine buzz, right?). by the way I'm not passing judgement, just describing certain folk I know.

I think you're missing the point in what I'm trying to say. From past experiences I've found scene kids/indie kids to be more interesting than the rest of the population. They have a different view point that I much appreciate. Nevermind brains for a second and realize I'd rather talk to people like them and party with them than the population that is recently in my area. And yes, I do believe as much as we'd like to think that the 'scene" kids are dressed to be different in the end they are all just the same and sometimes generic. But to be honest I'm just so sick of the party scene in my city...to death. Its quite sad actually. Imagine the Gottis for the boys and the Plastics from Mean Girls.

What about fun?
That's my ideology.
And that's is enouhg for my right now.
Sometimes people have phases in their lives when they don't want to be so committed or serious about anything what people call "real" values.
Especially when you are young you should sometimes just let it go.
