She is indeed too old. BUt out of all, she is the only one who seems to think further than just winning the competition. She does take risk. She knows how to model. I'm not saying she is loveable. But at least she's better now! Twiggy wouldn't acknowledge that. Miss Jay won't either. They're too set on the idea that she needs to go.

The show would be alot more respeced if they got judges with some real credibility, some fashion movers and shakers and taste-makers. Tyra was a very, very good model but being a supermodel is a separate talent from being able to spot a girl with the potential to be one. Ditto Janice and Twiggy. Jay Alexander and Nolee even if they're good at their day jobs are not really known as model scouts. And Nigel Barker? Saying he's a "noted photographer" is like saying Jamison Brewer of Yellow Fever is a celebrated designer.
What the show needs if it ever aspires to be a credible model talent show are photogs like Meisel, Testino, Klein, Inez and Voodinh, Day or the like to be judges. Or some respected designers as judges. Or editors fr. the different versions of Vogue. Or at least editors fr. Am/It./Engl./Fr. Elle not someone fr. Elle Thailand. And why have we never seen a booker or agent fr. Ford/ IMG/ Wilhelmina as a judge? I mean, they're the ones who'll be trying to get the girls jobs.
Of course none of the above will ever happen - the show doesn't aspire to being a legitimate modeling contest, it aspires to seem to be one so that girls in Podunk, USA will watch and apply to be a contestant.

It would be like watching a 4-car pile up, absolutely brutal. Imagine how many times we'd hear Miuccia saying, "You are ugly, please leave."

I think sometimes the next top model finds unique talent... eg gemma ward... but i think its stupid calling it the next top model... because its implying the next supermodel...
