damn..well anyways i'll keep posting images if anyone cares to talk about them..or if anyone is too lazy to go to the site which i recommend! forget
st. martins-I went there briefly-theatre costume design-and they didn't look this good!
This last piece is SOOOOOOOOOOO wearble.. I see resemblance of OWN... YUMMY....
Although most of the pieces are not wearable.. I can see where they are pushing for the details which will ultimately influence their thinking, concept and design when the student get out to the real world!
Cudos to them!

Wow, some of those are amazing!!!! I especially love the 1st years work with shapes and the first couple of collections by the second years. Truly truly amazing. I wish these were available for purchase. I love the way that 'porceline' masks almost extend the height of the models. v. cool.
phenomenal...this is student work?!?!?!!...
unbelievable...what's are they feeding those students???
WOW!!!..
I think its just proof of how serious that school is at churning out the best and most immaculate talents in the world. Indeed, you never see this kind of work from any other school's early courses. It's really amazing what they've already done....and what they're continuing to do.
vg...when you're at school, you don't have to design clothes for people to wear...you can design just for the sake of design...that's the beauty of it...
creative freedom...
after school you have to always worry about the business side of things...and if it will sell...
that's what's so great about being in school...and if you're lucky...you get to be around other people as creative as you are...looks like there's quite a lot of talent there...
maybe that's the difference...european designers go to school and really study fashion...and design...americans aren't so serioius about the design...they are more focused on the business side of it...and will it sell...
i wish more people on this side of the ocean paid attention to design...
beautiful things make life so much more pleasant... the arts are so valuable to society... i feel like we don't pay enough attention to the arts in the US...
art feeds the soul...
