yeah, I suppose, though I don't know of anyone who did - probably because you won't really end up doing your own work on top of what they set you at college. And because it's not about quantity, I'd suggest working really hard on the course projects instead.
the experience was like just appling to any other universities/colleges.
i printed off the application forms for international students and prepared a 40 images portfolio and i sent it to them.
they work so fast...within 24 days i got my letter and portfolio back (including shipping time).
i got all the needed forms like housing and acceptance slip and how to pay and visa and etc etc.
there was something i didnt get. i didnt sign up to get my portfolio back, but they sent it back to me anyways. i didnt even pay them...
do they do this to all the international students?
I signed in for the august (1 week) photography course and I'll (probably) be staying at Connaught Hall. Anyone else here at The Fashion Spot doing the same course?
Has any college students here in the states taken any of the short courses? I really want to take some but dont know how they are or if its worth it. Any advice would be great thanks!

hey..as i mentioned before i took fashion design beginners course last summer n i stayed at Connaught Hall.it was a nice place but my room was looking through the terrace n it was very uncomfortable because others were doing a lot of noise.besides this i enjoyed both the course n the place.good luck
^hum...just a series of my works. i had 40 artworks in my portfolio...i couldnt stuff any more because the portfolio only holds so many works =T
i had alot of differnt stuff in it...paintings, sculpture, digital arts, illustrations, fashion illustrations, life/figure drawings, sketches etc.
im gonna apply for BA fashion design afterwards.
thus...i was thinking if i should transfer to london college of fashion for foundation instead because it seems to focus on fashion more. if i do go to LCF for foundation...would it be harder to get into the BA course at CSM?
it's funny...after looking at the grad shows from CSM and LCF...i actually think there are better designers from LCF than CSM.

That's what I wanna know too cuz now I need to choose between CSM and LCF. I know that LCF is more focused on fashion and I've heard good things about LCF foundation course. The CSM foundation course sounds good too because you get to try different things before jumping in to fashion but I've heard that CSM has too many people and I might not be able to specialise in fashion in the foundation course cuz the competition is so high. I really like both schools and I dunno which one to choose. I'm a very undecisive person so this is really hard for me...
40 pieces! Wow that's a lot! What size should the pieces of work be in? Like, A4, A3? You have to send in copies and photographs, right?
International fees cost about $22,000 AUD at CSM. In Australia most uni fees for local students are upwards of $19,000 AUD. So not so much of a difference there, except for the cost of living in London !
