modacycle.com opening up for editorial submissions
We just changed the whole format of our journal around and it's not just going to be an article once every two weeks or so now, we're going to be publishing content more frequently, and we're going to be posting actual photo editorials along with the reportage.

Have a look at the guidelines: http://www.modacycle.com/submissions/

I think (hope) we included some pretty good examples of what we're looking for in the pitches, but let us know if it's not clear.

Basically, modaCYCLE is a group of fashion photographers, and we know how hard it is to get someone in the art department to even pick up the phone at the major publications, so we're creating this alternative outlet for serious editorials.

english girls needed to contribute to an online fashion magazine
Hi guys!

basically I want to know anyone who is interested in contributing to an online fashion, music and lifestyle magazine called www.the-dish.co.uk

its abosolutly fab and i have been working with them for a year - however we are in real need of contributors who are willing to write short articles weekly on fashion news etc.

there may also be the opportunity for going to press days and fashion events in the uk and it looks excellent on your CV and personal statement.

Unfortuanly these positions are unpaid but you will be part of a vibrant community who is recently getting off its feet much more with hits rapidly increasing monthly! its basically a chance to get published and get a wider knowledge of fashion and writing and stuff!!

so yer if you are interested then give me a message or alternativly you could email the person who runs the website Jo who is lovely! at

fashion@the-dish.co.uk and tell her why you want to contribute and if you have any, some examples of written work you have done like a blog or something like that!!

thank you my lovely ladies!!

thedish.co.uk needs you!!
