you'd have to google each brand and check their website for info, to see if they have offices in NYC

by the way you can check the Designers & Collections forum
there are so many threads on designers from NYC , posted every new york fashion week

this is probably a silly question, but if they are showing in new york fashion week, does that mean they have offices in NY or are based in NY?

Would You Help Me With My Homework?
So, let me have your thoughts. What do you think of MaxMara as a group, as a worldwide multi - brand and the way they are marketed nowadays?
Please, share your thoughts and let me know as I'm going to accept a job.....
Thank you

Anyone have any song lyrics about protesting? Any forms of protest will do, it is for homework.

Preparing for Fashion Week(s)
Hi. I'm working on a final project for my journalism class about fashion in Chicago and we have to incorporate a flash element into our projects. Anyhow, I decided to do a breakdown of the preparation that goes into a fashion week (models, designers, editors, buyers, etc) and whatnot. Does anyone have any information for me that I could use for my project - articles, personal experiences, etc.? I've scoured the internet for info... none that is useful to me.

Sorry if I sound desperate or anything....

i'm sure a lot of people will be able to help you there! good luck!

I am currently doing an assignment at school on Fashion Design, Dressmaking and the Fashion Industry. I will be presenting a huge collaged book on information, articles and interviews i have collected from the fashion industry. The interviews will basically consist of questions on style, fashion and various personalised questions to your specific field.
I need some knowledgeable photographers, agents, stylists, dressmakers, models and designers to complete these short interviews. If there TFS members interested in doing a quick interview via pm that would help me immensely! Also if you have any links or contacts to any i would also greatly appreciate it. Thankyou!
If you are interested just reply, comment or pm me and i'll message you back the questions. Thankyou in advance!

A teens guide to natural beauty
I have decided to start and create an advice booklet/magazine about health & beauty for teenagers because on the internet I have found some tips (but some are for like 30 40 yr olds who have started getting bad skin) In my advice booklet I want to give advice about looking after skin at an early age so we wont regret it later and how we don't need as much make up as most teenagers wear today etc.

I would love some suggestions and advice and please give me your name so I can add you to the acknowledgements page please. Thanks loads.

I would just say that less is better, with the exception of SPF & exercise!

There are a lot of really harsh skin products targeted for teens, products like Clearasil, Stridex, Neutrogena, Clean & Clear all have a ton of chemicals that end up just drying the skin out (especially when used in conjuction).

My advice would be to stick with gentler products and wear SPF. If acne is a problem, visit a dermatologist if possible. Oh and the less makeup the better!
