Well, there are really a lot of errors and problems. I suspect that it's just because your native language is not English ... so you are smart to try to get this up to business standards.

Here are a few more things to work on:

- The first sentance .... you don't "recognize a project" (it's just an awkward way to say something). I think you might want to say how you know about it ... that you saw it, was in it, read about it somewhere or learned about it in school.

- Secondly, you need to actually name the project you are talking about. Is it a building that they are constructing, is it an art installation, is photogrpahe or and ad campaign? Name what the project is. Not naming it and not saying how you know about it, just tells them that you sent then a cookie cutter cover letter .... and really didn't take any time to find out about the company.

- You should not use lower case "i"s ... it's net speak ... not proper business communications. You should refer to yourself as "I" ... in caps.

- The word "it's" is plural ... instead, you should say "its" in this case.

- The word "awsome" is not appropriate for a couple of reasons: The first, is that it's a word used by very young and immature people (it's slang), so you do not want to give that impression. And secondly ... it really doesn't tell them anything about why you like it ... awsome just means "awe inspiring". Anything can be awsome for dozens of different reasons. It's overused and doesn't really mean anything other than it makes you feel good. Not a professional observation. You need to say what you really think about this project. Is it something that is moving into the future, something that is cutting edge technology, something that inpires you to think, something that is ahead of it's competitors, something that will increase sales? That is the sort of thing you need to say.

- "reasin" is misspelled. "englich" is not only misspelled, it's slso not capatalized and neither is "albanian". County names and their languages need to be capatalized.

- The last sentance is awkward ... can't really understand what your goal is here. You say that you want to "to get to know your organisation and its work personally. ". I think you might mean to say that you would like to have to opportunity to meet them for an interview and to learn more about their organization.


There is a thread about cover letters and resumes for jobs and internships in this Careers forum ... you might want to search for that and read some of the suggestions in there. This needs a lot of work.

edita, keep in mind that human resources personnel in the US are trained to discard any resume or cover letter than even has one spelling/grammatical error on it.

you also might want to clarify at the bottom of your letter that you seek an "informational interview" - that may be seen as less pushy. also you dont even discuss the internship position or even name it -why?

^^Yeah, like how one edition of Vogue has portrayed a certain model or star, against another edition, or you could perhaps look into re-prints and how other publications have re-interpreted another image from the same story as their cover image, that some like Taiwan and Greece do, non ?

Fashion is a social science, IMO. So as long as you can show how fashion and society are intertwined, you've got a paper.

For example, think about things like this:

Modern fashion and how it draws from different cultures
Fashion and how times or war & peace, or prosperity & depression... how it changes with the mood of a nation or the whole world.
How fashion works to designate classes in any particular society
The westernization of the east ... in fashion.
How globalization impacts fashion.
Fashion and sweat shops .... how it impacts a country.

I have an assignment to style a celebrity, and have chosen Alexa Chung. But now I'm stuck before I've even started because I can't get past the color analysis... Her hair and eyes seem so different in a lot of photos. I think I've decided on a soft summer, but any ideas and input would be highly appreciated.

I can't offer specific suggestions, but here are some of my thoughts.

Perhaps you might be more inspired if you ask yourself where and why she's going to wear this look .... what time of day, where is she going to be, what is the event? That is the starting place if you were to style a real celebrity.

Re: her colors ... I sort of think of her as having dark brown hair with gold highlights, blue eyes and meduim beige (w. yellow undertones) skin. Thinking that the blue eyes may be enhanced by contacts ... just because they don't seem to fit the skin color ... my guess, they are closer to hazel, in real life.

I think with the current haircut, she's got a edgy vibe ... and she's square shouldered and walks tall, looks like she has a strong and purposeful stride. So, I'd take all of that into consideration too. You can go against type, if you think it would work as a good counterpoint (soft summer) or play it up by making her uber edgy.
