The Vogue / CFDA is something to aspire to as a professional designer and company owner... Seamless the Douglas Keeve fashion documentary is a wonderful introduction to the competitive series, though more for those out of design school, Jack and Lazaro walked away with the award for 2004, a couple of years out of design school...

f.uk.com is also another resource for scaled down competitive challenges, prizes are sponsored by companies such as Diesel, Puma and a variety of street wear and fashion apparel companies...

Global creative competition for Oxfam
Hey all. Oxfam's Make Trade Fair has launched a brilliant competition for young creatives. It's to come up with an idea for a Make Trade Fair campaign..and basically anything goes. A whole bunch of creative companies will work with the winner to bring the campaign alive (see the list of creative supporters on the website). The forum has also got some idea starters from creatives - ie: head interactive guy at Show Studio and head interactive guy from Tomato.
Worth checking out. www.makeabignoise.org |
