???

I don't believe the question has been asked but what do you all recommend using for when sketching designs? I never knew exactly what to use, so I used a classic pencil.

But I think I need to explore a little more and up the ante since I'm now putting a portfolio together for college...

you can draw your designs using a graphite pencil first(so you can erase your mistakes). You can leave it as is or use a felt tip pen to trace your drawing. If you want to color it, copic markers are great (you just have to get used to them). Or colored pencil.

Thanks!

I think you can do it. I think the yellow and red design would look interesting as a garment. The illustrations are great too--I like the legs of the green one
