I just did first year at Marangoni and aside from the Masters programs and 1-year courses, all classes are in Italian... so depends which you're interested in.

I'm going to go to a school in the Spring for Fashion Design. I want to go to FIT or Parsons. Any advice on getting into one of those schools.

Opportunities in London
Hi.

I'm moving from the US to London in about 5 months. I was wondering about information on jobs/schools/opportunites in or related to the fashion industry.

I was givin the opportunity to live in Lodon and I do not want to pass this up.

I just want to make sure I can still focus on my future career in the industry. I'd rather hear from you all knowing alot of you all know so much by personal experience rather than I browse school websites.

Thanks so much in advance.

Briana

Fashion school in Australia?
Hi,

I'm new here and new to the fashion industry too. I will move to sydney in early next year, so i've been wondering is there any nice fashion school in Aus? The area i'm interested in is Fashion Marketing or Merchandising.

Thanx!

Its not that difficult really. It depends which school.I started my search looking at their job conversion ratings (questions like ....just how many of the students get jobs?? etc and can you demonstrate /prove that ?) .
That led me to Polimoda in Florence in Italy. They are more interested in career output than professor status etc etc . So I just mailed them and they were very helpful. They have courses in English and Italian and get involved with real projects with real fashion people with La Perla and Tods etc . There's lots of lab creative stuff to so its not all theory
Finding accomodation was not easy but could be if you start hunting early.

Good luck!!
