Would You Help Me With My Homework / Research?

Hello, everyone!

Can anyone please give me some advice on the theme of my course paper? As I'm studying PR, it has to be involved in that.

What have you/your friends written? Any ideas?

I'm in a huge creative block. I have to pitch a slogan for our student appreciation banquet.

The theme is the Wizard of Oz, and it's also the 25th anniversary of the student appreciation banquet where students win awards, voted by fellow students and faculty.

Any suggestions? Here are some inspiring quotes I'm trying to work with:

My research is into:
Elena Ceausescu.
She wore some pretty hideous things, but so did everyone - Margaret Thatcher and The Queen - it was the eighties: Unfitted jackets with high-waisted, below-the-knee skirts with blouses and low heels all in the same colour.
Could someone please list some designers that originally influenced this sort of.. look?
