Sorry I have been remiss in posting...been caught up with modding I suppose.
We are working on a classic star style area for the boards so that should be quite lovely for all of us

Rather than "noir", maybe a 40's thread? That would include Noir and not be too limiting to keep people from wanting to post

Somnambule, can you pm me your addy? I have an extra program I snagged from Cine-Con I thought you might enjoy.
I am getting tix tomorrow for the remastered screening at the Academy of "Phantom of the Opera"

If you remember I recently met Carla Laemmle who was in the film and was a great friend of the star Mary Philbin so I am hoping she will attend as well.
I will post some pics when I can- maybe later today!

oh, i'm such a slow poster.. i agree. i think an era like the 40s would be easier than a genre.

Exactly...because then, what I may call a "noir", someone else may think a drama or a farce, etc.

40's may just be easier to label.
We do need a 30's one as well!
