I remember reading somewhere that Ali suffered from bad acne and had to wear really heavy makeup because of it. I think I may have noticed that in a couple of photos, though it's really surprising because she had such a natural look. She was beautiful nevertheless. Does anyone know if she was naturally tan though?

I think she was naturally pale.I mean she grew up on the East Coast where the sun don't shine for at least 5 months! I wish I could read that VOGUE she's in!!!

I was thinking more because of her heritage; she has a somewhat exotic look so her natural colouring may be darker. Does anyone know what her origin is? I'm thinking native American...

I don't think Native American,here is what Wikipedia says
"MacGraw's maternal grandfather, Maurice Klein, was a Jewish immigrant from Budapest, Hungary."
