SomethingElse, thank you so much! I have not finished reading the article yet (it is very long!) but I LOVE how they referred to Audrey as a newcomer! We have obviously never known her as such.

Audrey certainly epitomized the "New Look", imo. I so appreciate that Time has such an extensive archive of its publications. I'm having a lot of fun reading articles on the 'icons from the past' on tFS to gain a better understanding of the period in which they lived. I'm glad you enjoyed the article.

The Time cover is beautiful and even after all this time, I still can't believe that she got an OSCAR for her FIRST STARRING role (movie anyway)!
