Loonaka: Yes I have seen parts of it before. But as a whole no.
But of scenes I saw I thought it was very good.
It was a chance for Bette Davis to win her third Oscar but Joan Crawford did a campaign agains that.

There are lots more high quality images here. It's such a pity that she smoked most of her life. I think she would have aged much better without the cigarettes.

Yeah there were two fabulous interviews of hers on Johnny Carson where she talked about how she loathed Beyond the Forest and loathed Joan Crawford and that she should have won for Jane.
Talking about the Oscar and how Joan would go around telling everyone not to vote for Bette so that she could accept the award on others' behalf. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mocNW2GMJCk
I've watched quite a few of Bette's films lately for an independent study I'm doing. Have any of you seen "Dark Victory"? It's absolutely brilliant! Her performance is amazing. I just watched "3 On A Match" yesterday and it's one of Bette's first films. She is so young and beautiful in it.
"Dark Victory" was one of her favorite films she says in this interview with Joan Rivers. It's a great and comical little interview...she is always funny. Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epJVNx96lLA
