Constitutional Crisis Arises When King Tells Cabinet He Wants To Marry. An acute constitutional crisis has arisen between the King and his Ministers. The King has intimated that he wishes to marry Mrs Simpson, an American born society woman now living in London. The Cabinet has advised him against this and are meeting today to further discuss the matter. Photo shows: Mrs Simpson, whom the King has told the Cabinet he wishes to marry.

: 1/31/1958-New York, NY: The Duchess of Windsor adjusts the hair of the Duke as they met photographers on arrival aboard the liner United States. They said they plan to spend two weeks in New York and two months in Palm Beach and Tallahasee, Florida. They expressed a sense of "great personal loss and great shock" at the suicide Saturday of Robert R. Young, Board Chairman of the New York Central. The couple, close friends of Mr. Young, often visited.
