I agree, it's such a shame because they probably have tonnes of insightful stories and observations that we'll never get to hear. And when the opportunity does arise, it's usually just those with dollar signs in their eyes who come forward. When it comes to most stars, those who knew them the closest are not famous and care too much for their memories to let people with hidden agendas exploit them.

I know..one of the books I have on Edie is by this guy who IMO seems like he didn't even like her..

Yeah I've read it a long time ago. I also thought it was a big hard to get into from the start, but it's a very interesting book IMO

Yeah I've found it a bit tricky, with all the stuff about her ancestors. But I'm getting into her "teen years" now so it's certainly getting easier.
She's SO interesting. I really wish I knew what it was about her I liked so much!

If it weren't for the family tree in the back i would have been completely confused about her family! I was constantly flipping back and forth to see how Edie was related to the people they were talking about.
