Aaah words cannot say how much I have enjoyed discovering this thread!! I have been a fan of Fred Astaire since my father played his records when I was a child, I think I thought that was pop music or something! Has anyone read any good biographies on him? I found one in a second-hand bookstore once, but I don't think its very well-known...
