The trio spot Brigitte Bardot in the corner going over a new script...

Faces stare intently at the cinema screen...

Isn't he just scrumptious?! And thanks for the karma, Nyx. I still have some more screencaps to upload but I'm heading out the door right now, but I'll put them up on the thread when I get back. See you then!

Madeline continues to pursue fame...

A poster bearing the image of Sylvie Vartan, the poster-girl of the ye-ye music scene, looks down on the young ones

"The Children of Marx and Coca-Cola"

An isolated young boy with too many thoughts...

A vacant girl with too little thought...

That's all my screencaps from the film.

Wow what a lot of work Karina! The stills from when they are at the cinema are particularly beautiful! Thankyou. And that hair... I'm tempted to take the plunge and get that gorgeous cut. A lot of Parisian girls seem to be doing that look right now too.

Cléo de 5 à 7 is a fabulous movie!!!!!
it was aired recently on tv... I was supposed to meet my bf and prefered to watch it... I know we can find the song, Cléo sings (if you can understand french... well at the end of the song, I promise you're depressed all night long!)... a must-seen movie!

For the best wardrobe in black and white, both for men and women, I think seeing "Last Year at Marienbad" is a must. Delphine Seyrig wears a series of "petites robes noires" that are extraordinary, but so do the extras in the social or party scenes in the film.

This is my favorite thread! The clothing from French New Wave movies are flawless, well in my opinion. I'm trying to find out who were the costume designers, if any, for these movies.
