Frida Kahlo
she had such a unique way of dressing...i sometimes get nostalgic when i think of a time when the question was not always about "what names do you wear"...just...fabrics...and fantasy (not that iīm not into certain designers myself but it can get tiring)
and please no salma hayek as frida kahlo because i donīt think she does her any justice all those pictures are by nicholas muray a great photographer...who portrayed everyone from marilyn monroe to eisenhower ...you can find his work here http://www.geh.org/fm/muray/murcol_i...l#71:0053:0093 ![]() |

![]() ![]() Nice thread, annak. I really admire her sense of style...I think she is an inspiration to many designers. The white shirt with the panels in the first batch of pics you posted is gorgeous... ![]() |

An interesting topic, I like when people think outside the square when it comes to style, especially considering artists.
I'd never seen that Mariacarla editorial before, she wears the look well. |

Personally, I have some trouble finding her attractive
one of my best friends is completelly obsessed with her, so I've often tried to understand the fascination. She had an amazing personality and was truly a great artist, no doubt about that. But her eyebrow(s) and the facial hair in general gross me out Plus I can't really relate to her sense of style.
