Audrey. I liked her clothing more than Grace's because she really epitomized "minimalist chic" whereas, for me at least, many of Grace's outfits were questionable. However, I think Grace is prettier.

I think Grace's clothes were fine until about 1964 and then some choices weren't great and then the 70s came in-no one looked good during that era. Do you think Grace would have worn Audrey's clothes and vice versa?

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are asking. I just think Audrey had this natural understated glamour. Although people call Grace understated in regards to her clothing, I think of her as more influenced by her royal position rather than fashion itself. She dressed as a diplomat. Most of the pictures we have of her today are from after she married Rainier so obviously she was titled by then and began to dress accordingly. I would have loved to see what she wore had it not been for her marriage to Rainier. I think she would have been more of an icon. Most people think of her beauty and elegance when they hear Grace Kelly. Yes, she really put Hermès on the style map but the L.B.D. is all Audrey and arguably more innovative fashion-wise. I adore Grace but there is a reason many people consider Hepburn THE style icon of the Golden Age in Hollywood.

I mean do you think that Audrey would have worn something that Grace would have worn and vice versa.

This pic was taken at Josephine Baker's funeral. She and Grace were good friends. From Wiki:
In 1951, Baker made charges of racism against Sherman Billingsley's Stork Club in New York, when she had been refused service. Actress Grace Kelly, who was at the club when this happened, rushed over to Baker, took her by the arm and stormed out with her entire party, vowing to never return (and she never did). The two women became close friends after the incident. A testament to their close friendship was made evident when Baker was near bankruptcy and was offered a villa and financial assistance by Kelly, (who by that time had become Princess Grace) and her husband Rainier III of Monaco.
(Now keep in mind, in 1951, Grace was not famous at all )

More from Wikipedia:
On April 9, 1975, Baker starred in a retrospective revue at the Bobino in Paris — Josépine à Bobino 1975, celebrating her 50 years in show business. The revue, backed by Prince Rainier, Princess Grace,[4] and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis opened to rave reviews and became the rage of Paris. Demand for seating reached such an extent that fold-out chairs had to be added to accommodate spectators. The opening night audience included Prince Rainier and Princess Grace, Sophia Loren, Mick Jagger, Shirley Bassey, Diana Ross and Liza Minelli.

Unfortunately, Grace's actions in 1951 were the exception and not the rule.I applaud her integrity

youre welcome
she was a cute model when she was younger. too bad that video doesnt have sound. They also had some other rather interesting videos on that page, such as the press conference held before she left for Monaco to be married. Too bad none of the videos have her speaking French, I have always been interested to hear her French accent.

#1616 - love it
#1617 - grace seemed to really favor dresses that showed off her collarbone around that age. but i dont blame her, that kind of cut was flattering on her

in #1617, the dress would have been better w/out the black outline around the neckline
