Even her album covers seem effortlessly chic...

i have most of her old Gainsbourg recordings purple, and i've seen her with Joe D'Alessandro in the film that made famous from the 'Je t aime moi non plus' song ..a cult movie but -typical of me- i'm not sure of its title maybe it was 'je t' aime moi non plus' ..i'm so bad with titles...

back to topic, great photos , thanks for sharing,
and dont forget , it was for Jane that the Hermes Birkin was made for ..

tFS star style is finaly be getting.. stylish.. way to go

She's got an elusive quality about her. Is that her husband she's with?
I've been inspired to watch Wonderwall now. Wonder if I can even find it.

How cool, I'm quite jealous of you! It's so difficult to find anything of hers here.

And long may it last... I suppose even lovely Britney can get tiresome eventually.

That's Serge Gainsburg, with whom she had a very long relationship.

"Recruited by French filmmaker Pierre Grimblat to star in his movie Slogan, it was love at first sight between Jane and her costar Serge Gainsbourg, a popular singer and musician.

A fashionable couple on the Paris scene, they made the headlines in 1969 with a artfully disturbing song, “Je t’aime moi non plus” Offending to some people, a delight to others, Jane’s sensuous lovemaking sighs became a hit around the world.

A fragile, thin voice always on the verge of breaking remained her lasting trademark and was cleverly used by Gainsbourg who adapted his songwriting to Jane’s timbre. He composed especially for her and shaped her according to his desires. They stayed together for twelve years, becoming a popular couple, adulated by the public and the media. In 1971, they had a daughter, Charlotte, who is now an actress."

You can hear some clips of her music here. http://translate.google.com/translat...D%26ie%3DUTF-8

If you have it, Windows Media Player also has a full song hers, where she's joined by Placebo's Brian Molko.
