miss shearer and me are drinking a cup of tea looking outside through the window totally astounded by the masses of people who are hurrying by there... (and are never stopping not even for a moment )
shze certainly knew how to wear a satin gown.seems like she was born it.
she was hurrellīs muse.we have already had similar pics to this one ,but not exactly the same
a free soul,1931 with clark gable.i love her classic profile and those cloche hats looked best on her.later she often had the inclination to exeggerate her styling too much imo
i loved her as marie-antoinette.perhaps a bit sappy at times, but nevertheless very very moving and realistic.it was her last great film.thalberg was already dead when they astarted to shoot the film

Amazing pics. Norma Shearer has a unique look about her, but what an amazing actress. Its good to see that im not the only one who knows who she is. I loved her in the women, i know its rather outdated now but i can never get bored watching her or that movie.
oh ,someone who feels just like me.the women is in many respects totally old-fashioned (even thoughh back then it might have been qquite daring that a woman leaves her husband and gets an divorce because he betrayed her)but especially the ending is as old-fashioned as it can get....but itīs just so wholeheartedly wonderful....and the relationship of women towards each other havenīt changed that much as it seems to me.just love the movie .it was already at the end of the shearer-era.
forgot-yet another shearerabilia:
(really canīt remember the book i scanned it from.iīd have to go through all of them)
nice pic even though jean harlow and gable suited each other much more
