The very wonderful 60's model, my favourite next to the ever-fabulous Twiggy... These pictures were found by the user named modastrid, from livejournal. Sadly, photographs of her are now fairly difficult to come by, so the credit is due.
I love fashion pictures from the sixties!
Thank you a lot for this topic. The picture of Penelope with the clock is cute! the 3rd with pink thights and shirt too!

She has the most beautiful face ever and the coolest personality. she was 13 when she started modeling! She wore her fake eyelashes on the bottom lid because she couldn't put them on her top lashline! She wore skirts that were shorter than her panties. She wore boots that were connected to tights just so her father wouldn't hit the roof about her short dresses. She had David bailey so wrapped around her finger that he installed a ufo tracker on the top of his house for her. She started wearing weird makeup to annoy her friend's parents. She wanted to look as much like an alien as possible. She was told many times but women that she was NOT model quality and quite ugly. She was 5'10 and weighed 90lbs while twiggy at 5'4 (later 5'6) weighed 91lbs. She had an eating disorder though.

I think it's cool how 'odd' she was but something about her face really bothers me. It's in her cheekbones. I am v. bad at telling when people are anorexic but looking at her face that is one of the first things I thought. poor girl
interesting topic! here is a nice article on this era http://www.sugarzine.com/site_08.03/fashion.html
i like peggy moffitt better than tree though
somehow i have to agree with meg that there is something that makes you sigh "poor thing" when looking at her...
