Africa’s Next Top Model brings the prestigious modelling competition TV show and Tyra Banks Franchise to Africa, and is set to debut at the last quarter of 2013. It will be hosted by Oluchi Orlandi, Nigeria’s internationally renowned supermodel. Orlandi says Africa’s Next Top Model will be produced by LuLu Productions along with Never Machine Productions, and will air pan-regionally throughout Africa on MNET Africa Magic Channels, where she will serve as the executive producer and host, at a media briefing. The event will begin production in August in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and the English language series will be shot primarily on location in South Africa, sponsored by South African Tourism. Aspiring models will be selected from the cast in eight countries throughout Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Angola and Tanzania. BUSINESSDAY

They have been scouting all over the continent and now the NTM franchise comes to Africa with Oluchi hosting and producing it
From the promo pics, this might just be the best NTM unless of course they get some random dramatic model for the sake of ratings
I can't wait! Hopefully it won't be about drama and madness like ANTM. The shoots should be awesome with the African landscape. Am rooting for the model on the extreme left who is from Uganda she's a fantastic model
The girls look really promising based off of the promo shot, and I just love Oluchi in general, so it would be good to see if I can catch this anywhere on the Net!
Nigeria and South Africa both have English as their official languages, so I'm assuming it will indeed be in English.
