Britain's Next Top Model
BNTM is coming for the first time to UK and it starts tomorrow on LivingTV at 9pm.

I've looked over the profiles of all the girls on http://www.livingtv.co.uk/model/main.php?section=models
They're definitely a lot edgier looking and less conventionally pretty than the American girls. I think Steph and Naomi will go far.
Any Brits here dying to see this show??

i'm a sucker for these silly shows!.....

no-one is 'wow' to me.....but from the pictures.....
i like the look of lucy, naomi and steph....
perhaps, and only perhaps, shauna too.....though that picture is quite awkward.....

i'd love to see more pictures....!!!!

thanks for posting this....

The girls are average and most of them are too old for serious modelling.

Yeah, they had to send in audition tapes for the show so I'm thinking the TV execs probably chose ppl who would be entertaining to get their ratings up, rather than ACTUAL potential serious models.

The thing I like about British modelling shows (Model Behaviour and Make me a Supermodel) is that they tend to have photoshoots that are more edgy and realistic and less 'stagey' than say ANTM where the photoshoots are a bit comical really. Also, ANTM almost always chooses models which are just pretty girls who aren't really all that high fashion.

I think the BNTM girls' profile photos are pretty bad but I think their looks could be classed as quirky rather than conventionally beautiful anyway.
Look at Alice from Make me a Supermodel. She's not exceptionally beautiful but comes up trumps in the photoshoots.

I'm an Alice fan tho coz we both went to the same school (GO HBS!)

Not sure what HBS is but I always loved Alice, and that photoshoot you posted was amazing. She was great in it.

I don't get the living tv channel so I won't be able to see it but I'm excited for it none the less. A lot of those girls aren't tall enough though...5'7? Don't think any of them are appealing enough to pull a kate moss

HBS stands for Henrietta Barnett School. It's a North London girls grammar school and Alice and I are both HBS girls!

Yeah, the height thing is very strange. But I guess they couldn't find people that were 5"10 and were also potential TV ratings boosters. :p

I think shorter models can still look good on anything if they got a great face & legs!
who knows they might look great with make up? make up is like "MAGIC":p
