everyone's probably just nervous from being filmed the first time (did you see how awkward it was when tricia pulled out those photographs at elimination?) and considering that there's so much pressure on cntm already, i say they're doing a rather decent job. if anyone's to blame for the show's lack of excitement, it should be the director and cameraman for failing to film the juicy parts.

Im glad they dont have all the excess drama flailing around the show like ANTM. I know im watching it to see a model competition, not a battle for queen b*tch.

Ugh, when they said they were going to do a shoot of iconic rock chicks, I was so so so excited and thought that was an amazing idea, and thought they could really do something David Lachapelle-esque with really punk hair and makeup and a crazy wardrobe. But instead they wore things from the Value Village discount bin and looked akward on a multicolored floor. WTF, I say.

I really like Sisi though, her facial structure is so interesting. Heather is gorgeous too, but a little commercial for my taste, and she definitely reminds me of Rachel McAdams.

But the rest of them are so ... blah! Gives me all the more motivation to try out, haha.

Yeah, that photoshoot was very confused! I only got to find out who 2 or 3 of the girls were - Yoko Ono and Debbie Harry? Were the rest just miscellaneous girls who like rock music?

CNTM Oh my haha. I was in a cruel harsh mood last night when watching so I pretty much spent an hour tearing it apart haha.

Ok, the Andrea girl... Just.. no. I have to agree with whoever said she's a pity contestant. I don't see anything in her at all and she has the worse fashion sense I've ever seen. Those pink pants! With a pink tshirt! And the other patterned pants... Gah. And the Miss Sixty dress she chose was disgusting. It looked like it was a 4 year old's dress, both in size and design. Sick. She just annoyed me the entire episode and I was hoping very much that she would get the boot. I'm praying it will come next episode.

I didn't like the girl that got kicked off, Sylvie, either. I thought her attitude was terrible and I hated her look. She looked like any chick I could scrape off the side of the highway hitch hiking her way to Tofino (BC people will know what I'm talking about haha). I hated her picture too. I want to reach into the picture and close her mouth for her.

I don't like Tenika either. She's a little bit too full of herself for me, for not being that great looking and taking a notsogood picture.

I don't mind Sisi, even though her facial expressions were extremely weird and she kept doing this weird thing where she would move her head from side to side when talking to the camera. Natalie isn't too bad, she reminds of someone but I can't figure out who. Yay for her being 6' though! If only they would tell us the rest of the girls' heights.

I think Alanna is pretty, but not really modelly. I like Brandi a lot, her hair is insane! And her picture was great. I liked Dawn and thought she was pretty until she got to the shoot and then I wanted to kick her. I like Ylenia a lot too, I liked her picture. Heather is the clear favourite at this point to win. I like her, but not that much. I thought she looked really good at the judging, but her picture wasn't that great.

I couldn't stop laughing when they walked on the "runway" and Jay kept talking about wooden slats. Um, weren't they on a DOCK and were trying not to trip on the PLANKS. How BC of CNTM haha. It was weird to see the Parliament Buildings as the backdrop at the restaurant.

OK I think I've ranted long enough. I think the show came off as lowbudget. The photoshoot looked cheap. I thought Tricia looked great though. I'll see next week if this will just be a 10 week joke.

I thought Tricia was way too harsh on Sisi. She was scared of her? Why? Sisi was just confused, give her a break. As if they've all done millions of shoots before.

I don't know why people are getting on Sisi's case about the odd facial expressions. She was trying something out, no harm in that. It was quite obvious to me right away that she was trying to go for that rock chick scowl (a la Pink in this pic ), unfortunately she just wasn't quite making it work, don't see anything wrong with experimenting, you never know what you might end up with

Overall, I liked it more than I expected...yea major low budget but it was o.k.
Tricia SUCKED as host, and the one Tricia mail they did get was so lame and weird that it was on video! I liked Jay on it though, and I wish he was the host instead (or at least in every episode). I was also annoyed that they didn't show the auditions.

Plus, they totally should have sent Andrea or Sisi home (Sisi only had 4 useable frames and none without glasses!!!). It's one thing to try out facial expressions, but it seems NONE of them worked out!! I think her face is really interesting, but she doesn't know how to work it, and she's really annoying!


Sylvie actually took a decent photo. I really like Heather (she reminds me a lot of Rachel McAdams). I like Brandi too, but the attitude is too much. Dawn is pretty, but not confident. I don't like Natalie, but she was better than Andrea and Sisi.
