^She is more than established, she's been on practically every Vogue cover excpet U.K. an U.S. Vogue, mostly as an only girl, she's done campaigns that only top models do, e.g. Versace, Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani and she has her pick of runways, she's definitely established.

^^ It's been said a few times already, she was paid to be available to Gucci for the duration of Milan Fashion Week, with that being the case, Gucci is paying her for the money that she would have made had she walked for other designers in Milan that week. I don't necessarily think that she would have made $100K, but my guess is that she would have made well over $50K, and I think that Gucci is known for being one of the better paying houses, so that and perhaps her having a savvy agent, it is not that out-of-whack.

Not to mention that often included in the sum "exclusive" number/price is the days leading up to the show where an "exclusive" model would work long (often overtime) hours fitting, walking, waiting, sitting around, for the collection. A models day rate ranges anywhere from $2500 --> $25,000.. so if Anna worked for Gucci for 5-7 days leading up to the show + the show itself, including exclusivity rights... the number gets pretty high -- and understandably, as an exclusive prevents a model from working the other days, which at a caliber like Anna S it is likely she WOULD have worked the other days.. thus she is losing potential profit so requires reimbursement in her "exclusive" fee...

Hmm... Jil Sander, of course this exclusive has been sort of popular over the seasons but what did it bring to the models in the end (when even a Prada exclusive can't always guarantee some real effect in a career).

Then Givenchy... I still doubt it means that much except a lot of hype on day one then most of times a ticket to oblivion.

I guess the term "exclusive" is overused. Oh, the irony.

Way overused. There are now exclusives for absolutely everything...

To complete what I was writing above, I would say I prefer a model who starts with a "fake exclusive" (for whatever reason) in NY like Ginta Lapina in NY at Proenza and ends up with a full week in Paris including Miu Miu etc.

It used to really just be Calvin, Jil, and Prada/Miu Miu.

Gucci as well, I guess, to a lesser extent (usually new girls who debuted two weeks earlier Karlie, Ekat, Abbey etc)

I don't think Jil do exclusives anymore? Or do they?
They were the 'curse', but it was always still intriguing to see which new face who would show up.

Yep, it used to be those when I started following it too...

To me it would be better if Jil doesn't do any exclusives anymore, would make sense. The 'curse' of course and also fashion and modeling are evolving in a different way now. We don't need the shock of the new all the time (even if it's a lot of fun when just sitting here and watching the shows like lottery).
