i just think it is unacceptable to take shoes off just because you can't walk in them.

it's one thing for the heel to break and you gotta get it off before it hurts you, but completely different just to say "i can't do this" and take the shoes off.

If I was a designer I'd prefer a model to walk confidently and comfortably down the runway than hobble down it with bloody feet. Not to mention they probably have like another 5 shows to do after that one, and sprained feet are not a good asset.

There is a difference between quickly slipping of a stiletto and having to yank off a boot whilst heading the final line up with all those girls behind you.
