My favourite African model would have to be Alek Wek. I think that she has an amazing body and is very inspirational. I read a little article about her in Vogue US recently and I was very intrigued with her story. I think that she is beautiful

I actually just read the Alek Wek article in July Vogue issue. Compelling story...
I am not as familiar with some of the up and coming black models, but this forum has already presented several. I am still a Liya Kebede fan all the way. She is absolutely exquisite and not just as a model, but a mother and a humanitarian. I like that she is giving back to her country.
