- a few months ago, I was busy relaxing (meditating

) in a beautiful spa called the "Carolus Thermen" (http://www.carolus-thermen.de/index1.htm) in the old city of Aachen, Germany and I noticed a heavy wooden sign on the wall which said in big letters (in German):

Aus der Ruhe, kommt die Kraft

"The power (Kraft) comes from the Calmness (Ruhe)"

I was just wondering - where on earth you got this great saying from???

(I do apologise to all tattoo fans as this has absolutely nothing to with tattoos!

, the thing is in Germany getting serious pampering at a spa ("Bad") is quite a normal thing to do for everybody - coz it doesn't cost the earth here!

In Germany there are reasonably-priced top quality spas everywhere.

The beautiful Aachen spa has all sorts of wonderful healing things there - Finnish saunas, Turkish baths, mud, sand, massage, etc.... (http://www.carolus-thermen.de/index1.htm)

The lovely roman city of Aachen is traditionally famous for the special curative mineral springs - particularly good if you have gout apparently!

And the original "spa" is in a town called Spa in Belgium which is a stone's throw far from Aachen!

...so get yourself over here Süße and we'll both get ourselves some serious pampering together!!!

...& *ahem* you can also get a tattoo in Aachen if you are into all that needle stuff!

But wow... I didn't know Aachen has so many "bads" and reasonably priced. wow! I dont think we have bads in Australia. Maybe a rare few sauna & spa houses. Being really conservative, *ahem* just a question, do u have to be totally full-frontal-naked when you are in these bads?

which style of bads did you go to when you were in Aachen, dear?

Did you try the russian style bad/sauna where they hit each other to relieve the tension of the skin?
