Just out of curiosity how do ex-models make a living. Of course w know some like the Tyras, Heidi...have other things on the side but what about models like Linda E or Eva H...? Do they still have some of their big nam contracts or do they invest their earnings in the stock market?

If you make millions of dollars when you are on top, I should hope they put something aside for their future, but Linda E. probably still work quite a bit.

Some have careers in tv and other areas back in their home countries.
Take Emma Sjöberg (now Wiklund) for example. She did tv (and a few Taxi sequels) for years and now recently went back to modelling for a Swedish chain of stores that sells clothes to "the average woman".

But like Omnis said, if they are at all smart with the money they make while they are on top, there really is no need to work to make a living.

Anette Stai is an old international model from Norway, who now works as a spokeswoman for Louis Vuitton in Norway.

I think that a lot of ex-models probably work in "marketing" or something related to that, where they can use their fame.

catalogues are another place where you find many models, apparently ex top models get very good money in catalogues however low end they may appear.
