How absurd. Men's season was so over-saturated with newcomers that we barely saw any veterans, or any one model have a consistent booking seasons, sounds like women's season may be the same way. Hope not.
In theory, NY along with London, given the progression of their markets - emerging designers, young, contemporary brands and diffusion lines, inevitably influences the preference for newer girls. A need to signify "new and now" in every aspect. Anything that enters a new era is guaranteed to lap up all the ~promising fresh faces too. But then again, I could be dead wrong and actually the industry has gotten overly fickle.
I don't see any reason for Alex to change Ashley over at Balenciaga. Anita's doing a good job for his line but it would be an unnecessary change if he brought her along.
