Magdalena at Victoria Beckham is such a pleasant surprise.

So, VB is one of my favorite casts so far. Strong established faces, regular runway girls and new faces, that was a good mix.

Plus it really feels like the significant girls are voluntarily taking huge steps back in terms of walking shows in NY this season. No sign of Joan, Karlie, Karmen, Constance...and Daria S, Liu Wen, etc. are in much less than they usually are. I was shocked to see Rag & Bone's cast almost filled with newer girls (Although it was leaning that way last season as well).
Maybe it's because NY is essentially turning into a newbie arena or just general preference? Or maybe it has something to do with all the exclusives going on? Most casting directors seem more concerned with finding the next girl to hype and paying lesser attention to established names.

Also, I noticed things really slowed down for Elza Luijendijk.

^Yes, as always Europe should have a bigger established presence.

The trouble with Elza is likely (And has always been) that her shoulders are too wide and thus a bad fit for runway looks (Therese A. had a similar issue). Unfortunately even an only-girl Versace campaign can't seem to salvage that...

Such a pity, as she's got such an amazing face and potential.

Yes, it's still Russell.

I hope Manon is up for tailing Tilda as queen of shows this season, either her or Sasha Luss. But looks like Tilda is just starting to get real comfortable...

Wu girls are returning for Derek Lam's show. It must be a Scully cast.

I enjoyed the cast at Derek Lam. It wasn't really flashy, but very solid.

Joan and Karlie are covering the Grammys for House of Style.

^I just saw Karlie's tweet earlier as well! Good for them - that's much more productive/notable for them than fashion week at this point, honestly
