And who used to do Hedi's castings?

Erin Wasson wrote on twitter "Paris Fashion Week". Givenchy? I wish a stellar cast for tomorrow ;-)

Kudos to Jean Paul Gaultier for using so many black models. Overall I really liked the cast, most of the same faces as usual but they're always doing a good job with embodying his aesthetic.

Talking about the SUPERS i guess Givenchy, Saint Laurent Paris or Louis Vuitton can have some of them. I don't feel the same with the other designers, maybe also Chanel and Miu Miu.....

Yes and most of them are brand new!
They were actually also planning to show menswear but in the end they won't.
Maybe Hedi is overstrained since it's his first (?) womenswear line...

JPG had a great cast, and most other seasons, i normally don't care for JPG. but because i feel like this season has been so lackluster in castings, it was really refreshing to see a good mix of new rising stars (franzi mueller, ophelie rupp, chrystal copland), established girls (joan, karlie, liu, jourdan), to "experienced" gals like hannelore, yasmin, stam, and JPG fixtures like sessilee, alana, etc.

he's loyal and doesn't follow current trends in castings, and i respect him for that (his designs are another story ).

Hoping for a real strong cast at Givenchy tomorrow. I was disappointed with their cast last year, but they have done well at times in the past. Otherwise, we'll only have LV to look forward to in terms of potentially exciting cast. Chanel is typically just a sea of random models. I don't see YSL going with any kind of stunt casting and risking overshadowing the designer debut.

Iselin is going to be at YSL, so maybe that's a sign there will be more icons?
And yes, I was very disappointed with Givenchy and LV last season, hopefully they will rev it up.

JPG was fantastic in terms of casting. Great mix of generations, types, races but still true to the JPG aesthetics. A casting job very well done.

YSL or SLP as we have to say these days will be flooded with new faces as well im afraid. Its a little late in the season traditionally to tickle my senses with more newbies but Hedi is Hedi so I guess Im wrong and he's right. There's more or less going to be a coolness casting battle between Givenchy and SLP, mark my words. Im exhausted already.

Yes most of the times but for S/S 2011 there were Stella Tennant, Karolina Kurkova, Carmen Kass, Inès de la Fressange, Isabeli Fontana, Angela Lindvall, Coco Rocha, Jacquetta Wheeler, Erin Wasson and some others.
It happens few times but it's possible one day he'll do again a casting like that

Yeah, not the kind of cast I was hoping for at Givenchy, but very much in line with last season so I can't say I'm surprised.

I liked Hedvig Palm, but it's so weird seeing her book every show, Givenchy? Really? REALLY?
