Wow, been at work only for about 30 minutes, and already I've seen Alana Zimmer, Tatiana Usova, and that new girl Sabina (she has tons of hair lol). Everyone is SO beautiful.

I also saw Cameron Russell and actually spoke to her, because she and I have met briefly before, she is soo cute. She has this adorable little lisp when she speaks. She is transfering schools now from Wellesly to Columbia but she's worried because her first week of school and NYFW coincide! But she's very confident and smart and I told her that I'm sure she'll be able to handle it.

Haha it was the morning of the Gucci Resort show, so she was wearing that dress she wore to that show which I think you can probably find pictures of, but it was white with black designs (flowers maybe?) on it. She is very short but I think she's adorable, I love her little bob haircut. She was with 2 other women in the elevator but they weren't talking.

I was TOTALLY intimidated, I obviously didn't say anything to her, I was totally starstruck!!

I always ask myself if High Fashion Models are really popular.Of course I don´t speak about the Topmodels like Heidi Klum,Gisele and co...
I mean models like Anna-Maria,Inguna,Vlada...Do you think they are promptly recognized if they walk along the street and have to give autographs or aren´t they well-known outside the fashion world?

Hotaru, I would say almost no models are celebs in the usual sense, and the average person not in the business is totally unaware or not interested...I see lots of them in NY all the time, and they are so common a sight no one even pays any attention. It's a funny thing about NY and Hollywood- you can and do run into anyone and most people are not very impressed... "Oh, look, there's Ralph Lauren heading to his seat for the US Open...Wonder where we can get a couple of hot dogs before the match begins..." I guess at fashion and celeb events it's somewhat different- say outside of the tents and red carpet events. And a lot of the girls look very different in everyday life- jeans and shades with big purses- if they weren't so tall and slim you wouldn't even think about them!!

i saw agyness riding her bike on the lower east side of manhattan 2 days ago. i've seen 1 or 2 other top recognizable models since i've been living here and no one pays them any more attention than the next person on the street.
