I just thought this and did it with google to find out how the popularity of some models are on the internet these days.
I took all top models from Models.com's Money Girls ranking to google them, and here are the -rather surprising- results (Note: This was based on their popularity in South America, which is were I live):

What's way more interesting is if you type in stuff on google like "Kate Moss is," "Karlie Kloss in" or "Naomi Campbell has." The suggested search terms are hilarious.
For Example:
karlie kloss in pirates of the caribbean
naomi campbell has died
is kate moss cross eyed
lara stone has no eyebrows
gisele bundchen is an idiot
alessandra ambrosio is a man
With the Google Trends website [google.com/trends] you should be able to make a list of the most popular/searched/googled models of last year or last month.
I think I will do that in the next few days and make a ranking - The Most Popular Models of 2012 according to Google or something like that.

I typed in 'models' and there was this bar chart showing 'Interest Over Time' and from 100 in 2005 it went down to less than 40 in 2013 What does this mean? Are people getting less interested in models?

Yes, fewer people searched for the term "models" on Google.
^ That is interesting because I thought it would be the other way around, since fashion has gotten bigger and the internet is more accessible or maybe that proves the theory that models are getting more and more unconventional looking and most people have lost interest?
Models is just a bad search term I think (search results are all over the place). Maybe people search for particular models and fashion topics now. Victoria's Secret is going up each year for example.
