Another overrated model is Karolina Kurkova for me.

And am I allowed to ask what the forums are where these other girls are being worshipped? Bellazon? That forum is a bore. For me.

I havent read through this thread and I know heaps of people have said Gisele, but to me she is soooo overrated. I just cannot see what is so soecial about her and how she made it soo far!!!

same with kate moss, mainly the fact that I dont think her face makes up for her height at all.

^ I think people just look at gisele and think, "why is she a top model?" but if you actually go through her work, and such, she is actually a very impressive model. She has the walk, the right poses, the way she works with her body, and she can really change character when shes in front of the camera. To me she is one of a kind. Same with Kate Moss. I agree that. Gisele is very photogenic on pix. She's also versatile and sexy. She's a complete model and only complete model are Supermodel to me.

Gisele is actually a supermodel & she's been working for many years & surely she's intelligent because the way she managed her career & she's still earning much money every year.

I just hate anyone who's labeled as the next anything. And frankly I don't think Agyness would have gotten as far as she did if the press had not dubbed her as such. She would've been just another model too short to walk the runway.

LetThemEatCake, yes, they're being worshipped on Bellazon. Specifically Adriana.
I don't think Agyness would be anywhere without the short hair or crazy outfits, but that's just my opinion. She and Sasha are the same height, but Sasha just naturally has an edgy look. The Kate Moss thing is only there I think because they're both somewhat short and British.

^I agree with you Lavender blue, Agyness would be no where near as successful if she didn't have her hair, her style(if you can call it that) and if she wasn't British. Those things have helped her greatly in getting big campaigns.

Gisele IS a good model, but I think her body is what's overrated. She's got big boobs for a model, but that's it. One thing I've always noticed about her body is that when you look at her from the front, her hips are almost as narrow as her waist. So I don't understand why she's considered by some to be "the body". But she has a great walk, and she looks good in print, especially in ads. I don't think she's versatile, because her face is very plain-looking. But overall, she looks good in print.

Kate Moss is quite possibly THE most overrated model. And just what exactly makes her a "supermodel"??? She came along at the tail end of the Supermodel Era, and even then, she was just a Calvin Klein ad girl at the time. And she wasn't even the top model of the mid 1990s, because Amber and Shalom were. So I don't understand why she's considered a "supermodel". She's just famous for being the short girl of the mid 90s, that's all.

I think on the surace, Kate Moss may be overrated but there's more, I don't know how to explain..

She broke the mold, anyway. Before little Kate Moss, supermodels were imposing Amazons, over 6 feet in heels, swaggering and swiveling down the runway with hot hauteur. They had big breasts and big boyfriends and didn't get out of bed for less than 10 grand a day. (And back then 10 grand was money!) So along came this little 14-year-old Brit with a sweet smile and naughty eyes, and she blew away the whole supermodel aesthetic.

Kate was grunge. She was the Kurt Cobain of mannequins. She rocked, but in a whole new way. And the outrage was palpable. She was "the waif." And suddenly everyone was concerned about whether she was getting enough to eat. For someone who grew up on Twiggy, I wasn't sure what they were talking about. To me the shocking thing about Kate was that she was 5 foot 7. But suddenly she was blamed for anorexia and things like "heroin chic."
