I've always wanted Melissa Tammerjin to be more than just a runway filler. Nobody out there looks like her.

Caterina is definitely underrated but I'm glad Miuccia likes her so much as to make her an exclusive this past season after skipping fw2012

I'd also add Sheila Márquez and Marina Perez.
I also wanna see Ros Georgiou doing more things.
Are Romina Lanaro and Kim Noorda still around? They are both so incredibly diverse.

Marina Perez for sure, I miss her a lot. Glad she had a good final season with just Prada and Marni, would love to see her on the runways again though.

For me, Marihenny Rivera is very underrated, she did Prada/LV/Marni/Miu Miu her first season and then it was just so-so after that. She has a great walk, endless legs for being just 5'9.5", her solemnity and melancholy look is very HF/European. I just don't get what people DON'T see in her. She is all in one.

Juana Burga is another girl whose career baffles me. Her proportions are incredible, she has a perfect runway body and walk, flawless skin, she can do anything from commercial to editorial. She can really go far and hopefully with her spread in the April issue of Vogue Paris by Mario Testino will help push her career even further.

Well, the fashion industry doesn't exactly promote diversity. Just take a look at the top visited threads here. 95% are blond, white, bland and beige.

agree, she was so amazing at D&G fall 2011. I don't know why she's not having her own moment.

My thoughts exactly, it's like when James Scully said about Lakshmi during his 2008 castings that "the trend is towards the white girl" I can't get over it though. It just bothers me to no end that color plays so much role in the industry, when it matters so little in every other industry in the world today.
