What the hell does "not fashiony" but still "very up" mean??? No wonder the poor models in fashion shows often look so dazed and confusion!

Thanks Lea!

So if I see a photographer, I just stop - without posing! Then I wonder what I'd look like

These are hilarious. Thanks for posting.

I love Michael Kors. I always liked the Michael Kors show directive "You Are The Jet Set". I think it was for Spring 2004.

Wow! Interesting topics! Some indications seem very complicated. Ok, so I get what fashiony is, but how are you supposed to not look fashiony!??!!?

I love the backstage directives, some of them are really funny. On an episode onf Fashion Television they did a segment on fashion directives and it was pretty funny. Some designers are totally wacked, one of them told the models not to blink, a bunch of others totally contradicted themselves like "be strong, but soft"......

"be strong, but soft"...... hey I sense pure "panick" in every one of these directional signs.. I guess Kors was the only one who kept cool during his show. His signs seem motivational enough.. but they are still kind of absurd because why should ever a supermodel try hard feeling like a celebrity..? Can you imagine the backstage at the oscars, and the directives are: "You are a celebrity and every paparazzi is looking for you. You are the best couple and the best dressed, do not forget!! You are a star!"

There's a whole thread on this somewhere back 4 or 5 pages with dozens and dozens of signs. Some were pretty funny.

I like the Michael Kors one...some of the other ones can be so confusing. (Stella's...LOL) Sometimes I'm glad could NOT be a runway model - imagine being nervous, thinking about not falling over, along with having to walk 50 cm from the edge at the same pace at the model before you, having act a certain way...oi, my brain would short circuit trying to do ALLLL of that. Ok, maybe not, but that definitely requires a LOT of concentration...and memory...

...remember not to smile!
