I'm sorry if a topic like this already exists and mods feel free to merge it, but I didn't see one.
I was just looking at threads like Models who are disappearing and Supermodels of 80s/90s and it got me thinking. Modeling will only get you through for a what a decade? Yeah, a few are working past their 30s, but vast majority of models are probably done once mid 20s come rolling. So, what are those who used to grace the covers of world fashion magazines and strut down fashion's most exclusive runways are doing these days?
I'll start, with some obvious ones, lol
Tyra Banks - tv host
Janice Dickinson - founder of a 'modeling agency' and a professional hot mess
I like this topic I think a lot of them go on to be actresses.. Maybe if things ever do cool down for Gemma, she'll take off more on her acting career, but somehow I think Gemma will just last as a model into her 30s!! I hope Cintia becomes an actress being as she wants to, (or at least wanted to!).
Honor Fraiser - Gallery Owner
Niki Taylor - TV Host - Make Me a Supermodel
Carla Bruni - Singer/Temptress
Cindy Crawford - "Furniture Designer" for Rooms To Go
Heidi Klum- Host of Germany's Next Top Model & Project Runway
Yfke Sturm- Host of Holland's Next Top Model
Famke Janssen - Actress
Molly Sims - Actress
Rebecca Romjin - Actress
Noemie Lenoir - Actress
Estella Warren - Actress
Kate Moss - "designs" for Topshop
Sophia Dahl - Writer
Padma Lakshmi - Host of Top Chef & Author
Helena Christensen - Photographer & Co-founder of Nylon
A number of second tier models from the 90s became restaurant owners including Hailynne Cohen and a redheaded girl who I think did a Louis Vuitton ad, whose name escapes me, maybe Lucy Cunningham(??).
